British Columbia born and raised, Aspen has spent many years dedicated to not only honing their skills in English, but multiple languages such as French, Japanese and Korean. After Aspen finished their degree, a Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in English with a Minor in Modern Languages and Global Studies, they decided to pursue Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language. This was not only due to their experience learning a Secondary Language in a foreign country, but also because of their experience tutoring Japanese students in English during their year abroad at Toyo university.
Currently, Aspen is in the process of completing their TESL Certification through Thompson Rivers University and looks forward to the opportunities to share their love of learning with those on their journey of learning English as a Secondary or Foreign Language.
